People use to do some bad practice just after eating rice and heavy meal which are harmful for health. These ill practices are :-
1. Never go for sleep just after eating rice which is a bad habit, which can deposit fats in the several vital organs of the body. Also this habit can cause delayed digestion and intestinal infections.
2. Never go for drinking water or any liquid food just after eating rice. During eating rice, one thing should always be remembered that you have to leave some spaces for water and gas inside the stomach. You have to wait at least 10 -15 minutes to drink water just after eating rice. Otherwise chances of indigestion and acidity may arise.
3. Never eat fruits just after eating rice. This in turn can cause delayed digestion and absorption.
4. Never smoke a cigarette just after eating rice. If you smoke a single cigarette just after eating rice, it will harm more than a packet of cigarette you smoke.
5. Never drink tea just after eating rice. Tea, coffee contain tannic acid which can delay digestion.
6. Never go for exercise and walking just after eating rice. Though every one says that walking at least for 10 – 15 after eating food is good , in reality it is not true and scientific. You have to delay at least half and hour to walk just after eating rice.
7. Never take bath just after eating rice. Blood circulation in the body increases if you take bath just after eating rice as a result blood circulation my increase in the stomach also.
8. Never take any medicine just after eating rice. Because a few moments are required for the food to be ready for metabolism. So at least delay 20 – 25 minutes to take any medicine after eating rice.
